Todmorden Bandstand Re-Launch!

Todmorden Town Council are absolutely thrilled to announce that the Todmorden Bandstand Re-Launch will be happening on Sunday the 22nd of March!

We cannot WAIT to see the Todmorden Bandstand back in all its glory, and are thrilled the first event will feature lots of great local groups!

The event is FREE and open to everyone, just turn up on the day!

Come and see:
Mr Wilson’s Second Liners – fantastic and vibrant, “New Orleans meets 90s club classics”
Vocal Highs – a cappella community of singers: heart-felt renditions of soul, pop, r’n’b, folk and songs from far away lands that touch the heart
Music for the Many – bringing us their brilliant and enthusiastic Youth Orchestra
Todmorden Nasheeds – traditional poetry and chants to celebrate our Muslim neighbours 🌙
The Calderdale Fantasy Orchestra – playing an eclectic mix of tunes, and having a great time doing it!
Todmorden Community Brass Band – a full section brass band that’s been entertaining Todmorden for the last 25 years!

Todmorden Bandstand has received so much support to get it renovated and brought back into community use! Starting with the efforts of the ‘Save Our Bandstand’ campaign, which has morphed into the Todmorden Bandstand Group who have brought you this re-launch event!

The Bandstand was included in the fantastic investment from the Todmorden Town Deal, and supported by generous funding from the The National Lottery Heritage Fund (big thanks to National Lottery players!).
