Bandstand Renovation

Renovation of the Bandstand was proposed as part of an overall project for Centre Vale Park as part of a proposed Town Deal bid for Todmorden.

That bid was eventually successful and Todmorden Town Council agreed to be “Sponsor” for the Centre Vale Projects and following discussions with the Bandstand Group agreed to assume ownership of the Bandstand, with the Bandstand Group working with the Council to manage the use of the venue in the future.

Todmorden Town Council made a successful bid to the National Heritage Lottery Fund for capital funding which together with matched contribution from the Town Deal fund enabled architects to be appointed and the renovation project move forward.
